MEET RESULTS

Welcoming the University of New England Nor'easters for a Senior Day matchup, the Gordon College Men's and Women's Swimming were topped by UNE, 72-13 (men) and 175-64 (women). 

Prior to today's meet seniors Abby Bacon and Leanne Hallenbeck were honored for their time as a Fighting Scot. 

In the 50 yard backstroke, the Fighting Scots scored a two-three punch as Bacon hit the wall second with a time of 32.71 before teammate Anna Hailstone earned a time of 33.79 for a third-place finish. On the men's side in the same event, Ryan Locke earned the top spot with a time of 35.48. Olivia Rose booked herself first place in the 50 yard breaststroke hitting the wall at 36.44. Rachael Shek gave the Scots another top spot finish as the sophomore secured a time of 1:08.78 in the 100 yard butterfly to finish a full six seconds before the second-place finisher. Shek again dominated the butterfly but this time going 50 yards in 28.39 seconds for another first-place finish. 

Next up for the Scots is a trip to South Kingstown, R.I. for New England Championships starting February 13.
