After setting a new Gordon College Men's Track & Field school record last week, junior Chase Silvia earned a spot to compete against the best in the region yesterday at the New England DIII Men's Track & Field Indoor Championship meet hosted by Springfield College.

Silvia cleared the opening 1.87m threshold in the high jump to advance to the next height and finished the day with a 12th place finish. 

Next up for the Fighting Scots is on March 21 at the Wesleyan Spring Classic.
