Scots Finish Third At CCC Championship

Gordon College Men's Cross Country finished third at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship this afternoon, hosted by Western New England.

The Fighting Scots earned 93 points, coming in behind the Suffolk University Rams with 55 points and  the first place Roger Williams Hawks with 35 points. Alexander Cravens and Colin McGinn earned All-Conference honors with finishing in the top-15. Cravens ran the 8k in 27:49 for an 11th place finish while McGinn crossed the line at 27:58 to secure 13th place. 

Rounding out the top runners for the blue and white were Evan Page (28:03) who came in 16th place, Zachary Smith who booked a time of 28:25 for his 23rd place finish, and Chris Taylor who secured a time of 28:56 for a 33rd place finish.

Gordon's third place finish is a program best over the past nine years (2012 third place finish).
