Box Score 1 The Gordon College Softball team held the visiting Wentworth Leopards scoreless in an 8-0 victory that ended in six innings. 

Game One

• Senior Lily Rivera put the Fighting Scots on the board first in the home half of the first with a solo shot to left.
• After a scoreless second inning, Gordon  took advantage of a Leopard fielding error to score their second run of the day in the third inning.
• With two ducks on the pond, Arianna Ramsaran belted a three-run dinger to straightaway center to extend the Scots' lead to 5-0.
• In the bottom of the sixth, Rivera led off the inning with another solo homerun to left center. After a walk earned by Ramsaran, Laura Bieren ended the game early with a 2 RBI homerun to center field to win it 8-0.
• Mara Little only allowed three hits in six innings of work in the circle.

Game Two

• The game was called in the fourth inning due to rain.

Beyond The Box Score

• Gordon tied the record for single game home runs in game one (4). Last time that happened was in 2019.
• The Scots host the University of New England on Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m.
