For the second week of a head-to-head matchup, the Gordon College Men's and Women's Swim team both defeated the Elms College Blazers this afternoon 190-98.<br />

<strong>Highlights</strong>

<li>The women's 200m relay team of
Lily Brooks,
Olivia Rose,
Anna Hailstone, and
Janelle Maxwell finished six seconds ahead of Elms to start of the day.</li>
<li>
Sarah Hutchinson hit the wall first in the 200m freestyle with a time of 2:47.73.</li>
<li>Hailstone cruised to a first-place finish with a time of 39.08 in the 50m backstroke.</li>
<li>Rose secured a win in the 50m breaststroke, hitting the wall at 40.66.</li>
<li>In the 50m freestyle, Maxwell edged out the competition with her time of 31.74 which earned her a first-place finish.</li>
<li>John Sullivan defeated his opponents in the 50m freestyle with a time of 27.41.</li>
<li>Maxwell picked up a victory in the 100m freestyle with a time of 1:11.29.</li>
<li>Sullivan finished two seconds ahead of the second-place swimmer in the 100m freestyle to take the win.</li>
<li>Rose again steamrolled through the competition with a dominant 1:29.85 finish in the 100m breaststroke, which was nearly 30 seconds ahead of the closest swimmer.</li>
<li>Rounding out the wins for the Scots was the women's 200m freestyle relay team of Hutchinson, Rose, Hailstone, and Maxwell who finished the race in 2:12.48 seconds.</li>

Overall the women's team defeated their hosts by a score of 132-82, while the men dominated in a 58-16 victory.Â
