Scots March Past Colonels, 7-2

Box Score Gordon College Women's Tennis traveled to Milton, Massachusetts for a conference contest against the Curry College Colonels. The Fighting Scots took care of business, defeating their hosts by a score of 7-2. The Scots close out the regular season at 5-3 overall and 4-1 in league play.

Gordon's No. 1 doubles dou of Jordyn Maddex and Annette Kim cruised to an 8-1 victory over their opponents before Madison West and Kristin Kendall shutout Curry's No. 2 partners, 8-0. Curry was handed a victory in No. 3 doubles due to a Gordon default.

The Scots continued to roll in singles competitions going 5-1 against the Colonels en route to their 7-2 victory. The longest match came in No. 1 singles where Maddex battled with Alexandra Borkov, but earned the hard fought win (7-5, 4-6, 6-4). Kim bested her opponent 6-0, 6-2, West took a 6-4, 6-0 win, Kendall earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory, and Abbigail Fournier got the better of her opponent with a 6-2, 6-2 W. The lone Curry singles victory came in the No. 6 spot due to a Gordon default.
