MEET RESULTS

Traveling to Bangor, Maine today for a meet against the Husson University Eagles, the Gordon College Men's Swim team was bested by their hosts, 154-43.

Sophomore John Sullivan was the lone competitor in the 1000 yard freestyle, earning a time of 11:35.90. In just his second meet of the season, senior Ryan Locke secured a third place finish in the 50 yard backstroke, touching the wall at 36.57. In the 500 yard freestyle, Sullivan continued with his winning ways, finishing 12 seconds ahead of his opponent with a time of 5:34.69. Adding another feather to his cap, Sullivan again earned the top spot with a time of 28.92 in the 50 yard butterfly to close out the meet for the sophomore. Finishing off the afternoon, Locke's time of 1:19.51 put the senior in first place in the 100 yard IM. 

The Fighting Scots return to action a week from today on Saturday, January 15 as they travel to Saint Joseph's (Maine) for a tri-meet against the Monks as well as Husson at 12 p.m.
