MEET RESULTS
Gordon College Men's Swim ventured to New London, New Hampshire today to swim against the Colby-Sawyer Chargers where the Fighting Scots defeated the home team by a score of 108-85.
John Sullivan took the top spot in the 1000 yard freestyle and once again in the 200 yard butterfly. The junior hit the wall at the 11:44.60 mark to beat his competitor by 20 seconds in the freestyle before edging out his counterpart in the butterfly by two seconds (2:24.76). Then,
Major Adair blew past his opponent in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:09.90 to capture first place. Continuing with top place finishes for the blue and white,
Brenndan Teeter touched the wall a whole 24 seconds before the next swimmer in the 100 yard backstroke after posting a time of 1:04.79. Later,
Zachary Barneson got in on the fun as the sophomore raced his way to second place (1:20.37) in the 100 yard breaststroke. In the 50 yard freestyle,Â
Dorian Bourguignon secured a second place finish thanks to a time of 26.88. Adair returned to his first place ways as the rookie bolted to the finish with a time of 58.69. Teeter again put on a show in the 200 yard backstroke, earning his second first place finish of the day (2:16.62). Nearing the end of the meet, Sullivan collected his third first place finish of the day  after sporting a time of 2:44.13 in the 200 yard breaststroke.Â
The Fighting Scots return to action on Friday, October 28 to host Regis and Elms at 6 p.m.
