MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Women's Swimming traveled to New London, New Hampshire today to race the Colby-Sawyer Chargers where the home team defeated the Fighting Scots, 137.5-91.5.

In the 1000 yard freestyle, Katherine Maloney was the first swimmer to crash into the wall with a time of 12:31.83 before later coming in first once again thanks to completing the 500 yard freestyle in just 6:04.48 which was nearly a full minute ahead of the second place finisher. Then, Ella Schissler and Lillyan Defeo made it a two-three punch in the 200 yard freestyle as well as the 100 yard breaststroke with times of 2:32.87/2:41.35 and 1:32.93/1:35.99, respectively. With their second first place finish of the day, Mia Frazier swam the 100 yard backstroke in just 1:09.58. Janelle Maxwell earned herself a second place finish as the senior put together a time of 1:04.30 in the 100 yard freestyle. 

The Fighting Scots return to action on Friday, October 28 to host Regis and Elms at 6 p.m.
