CCC RELEASE

Gordon College Women's Cross Country's standout distance runner, Rachel Brennan, has been awarded the CCC Runner of the Week accolade for the final award week of the 2022 season as announced by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) this afternoon. This marks the fourth time this season that Brennan has been honored with this high prize.

This past Saturday, Brennan raced in the CCC Championship 6k event at Rotary Park in Biddeford, Maine where the junior booked her second consecutive CCC Runner of the Year name after completing the course with a time of 22:55 to earn the gold medal. The decorated student-athlete's swift time paced the Fighting Scots to an overall fifth-place finish in the Championship race.
