Box Score Gordon College Women's Tennis traveled to Hilton Head, South Carolina to compete in the 2022 Spring Tennis Fest where they battled the Cardinals of Catholic University for their second match of the spring season. The Fighting Scots bested their first victims of the tournament, 7-2 after defeated the Cardinals in doubles (2-1) and singles (5-1). 

The Scots started their day off with two wins on doubles courts one and two after power duo Jordyn Maddex and Annette Kim took out their counterparts, 8-3. Meanwhile, Madison West and Kristin Kendall helped the Fighting Scots out with another win (8-2) on court number two. 

For singles, West flew over her opponent in two quick sets (6-0, 6-2), while Kendall locked in another win for the Scots on court four (6-2, 6-1). Next, Kim added to Gordon's tally with a 2-0 victory (6-2, 6-2), followed by Abbigail Fournier who battled it out to earn the last singles win (6-3, 7-5) and secure the ultimate 7-2 victory. 

The Fighting Scots are back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, March 8 to square up against the Buena Vista Beavers at the Chaplin Park Tennis Center in Hilton Head, South Carolina for a 5 p.m. start.
