Box Score The Gordon College Women's Tennis team kicked off Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play this afternoon in Newport, Rhode Island as they faced the Salve Regina University Seahawks. The Seahawks proved to be too much as the home team secured the 9-0 victory over the Fighting Scots.

Salve Regina swept the three doubles pairings before earning wins on courts No. 1-No.5 as well as a forfeit in No. 6 singles for the win.

The Scots travel to Bristol, R.I. on Saturday, September 17 for another league matchup against the Roger Williams Hawks at 12 p.m.
