For their first meet of the 2023 season, Gordon College Women's Track & Field traveled to Norton, Massachusetts to compete at the Lyon-Mule Dual hosted by Wheaton College.Ā

Kewana GoodenĀ led the way for the Fighting Scots' squad after a throw of 7.54m in the weight throw to put the junior in sixth place out of 14 participants. Rookie
Tiana Fox made a splash in her debut as the junior launched the shot put 10.71m to take the top spot (out of 18 student-athletes) as well as collecting a new Gordon College Women's Track & Field Indoor record. Also in the shot put, teammate,
Abigail WirlingĀ earned a fourth place finish after the shot put landed at the 10.34m mark.
Next up for the Fighting Scots is the Hampshire College Black Sheep Invitational on Saturday, February 11 at The Track at New Balance in Brighton, Mass.Ā
