Scots Best Chargers In Double Dual Meet

MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Men's Swimming traveled up to Keene, New Hampshire for a double dual meet against their hosts, Keene State as well as the Colby-Sawyer Chargers today. Keene State topped the Fighting Scots by a score of 190-85, but the blue and white secured the 141-89 victory over the Chargers. 

In the 1000 yard freestyle, John Sullivan secured a second place finish with a time of 11:37.28. Zachary Barneson's time of 33.01 put him in third place in the 50 yard backstroke. Major Adair nearly booked a first place finish in the 50 yard freestyle, taking second (26.38). Adair later came in third in the 100 yard freestyle (58.27). Earning the top spot in the 100 yard breaststroke was newcomer James Branaugh who finished a full second ahead of the second place swimmer (1:07.13). Branaugh swam his way to second place in the 50 yard butterfly (26.23).

The Fighting Scots return to action on Friday, October 27 to host the Regis College Pride and the Elms College Blazers at the Bennett Center.
