After a thrilling Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinals victory this past weekend, the No. 4-seeded Gordon College Women's Soccer team traveled out to battle the No. 1-seeded Golden Bears of Western New England on their home field. The Golden Bears came out hungry after obtaining the bye with the No. 1 seed and defeated the Fighting Scots by a score of 4 - 0.
How It Happened

WNE knocked on the door five times in the opening minutes before finding the back of the net after a scrum in front of the goal to go on top, 1 - 0 in the eighth minute. The Golden Bears netted two more quickly after to widen the gape to 3 - 0 midway through the frame.

From there, Gordon matched the home team in shots (three) before the break, but WNE still held onto their three-score advantage.

The blue and white came out firing in the second, but were unable to get on the board before the Golden Bears tacked on one more insurance goal to claim the 4 - 0 win over the Scots.
