Scots Place 13th At NCAA DIII Regionals

MEET RESULTS

A handful of student-athletes represented the Gordon College Men's Cross Country program at the NCAA DIII Regionals in Hopkinton, New Hampshire today. The Fighting Scots earned a team score of 391 to come in 13th place out of 40 teams as well as being the second top Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) squad. In total 226 runners competed in today's meet.

Continuing his outstanding rookie campaign, Jesse Comanda was the third CCC runner to cross the finish line and came in 46th overall in the 8k with a time of 26:18.90. Colin McGinn and Zachary Smith made it a back-to-back punch as the duo was the 69th and 70th runner to come across the ticker with times of 26:40.99 and 26:44.05, respectively. Stephen Kaelin, Philip Kay, and Seth Morgan rounded out the top finishers for the blue and white. Kaelin (27:38.88) came in 102nd, Kay (27:41.69) registered a 104th place finish, while Morgan (28:16.56) sported 117th place.
