Scots Dominate In Win Over Panthers And Falcons

Gordon College Women's Swimming jumped into their home pool for the third time this season as they hosted the Plymouth State Panthers and the Albertus Magnus Falcons to the Bennett Center. The Fighting Scots controlled the afternoon and picked up solid wins over the Panthers (127-123) and the Falcons (180.50-32.50).

  • Katherine Maloney continued her winning ways in the distance freestyle, hitting the wall first in the 1000 yard event at the 12:14.06 mark.
  • Ella Schissler was the second swimmer to touch the wall in the 50 yard breaststroke (40.18).
  • Gina Ouellette took the crown in the 100 yard butterfly at the timer hit 1:13.03.
  • Isabella Gadouas blew past the competition in the 50 yard freestyle (28.42).
  • Lily Brooks came in second in the 100 yard backstroke (1:12.50).
  • Arwen Hefner booked a first place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:21.54).
  • Maloney completed the 500 yard freestyle in just 6:00.90 to earn first place.
  • In the 400 yard IM, Maloney raced her way to another first place spot (5:19.83).
  • Wrapping up the day in the 200 yard freestyle relay, Gadouas, M.Kay Farkas, Grace Haxhinasto, and Maloney.
The Fighting Scots return to action on Saturday, November 18 as they travel to Husson University to battle the Eagles at 12 p.m.
