Scots Collect Top-Finishes Against Pride

DAY ONE RESULTS | DAY TWO RESULTS

The Fighting Scots traveled down to Weston, Massachusetts for a two-day meet against their host, Regis College as well as the visitors of Elms College Blazers. 

By The Numbers

  • Freshman James Branaugh was the first swimmer to touch the wall in the 50 yard freestyle with the time of 22.94. 
  • Zachary Barneson's time of 1:09.23 in the 100 yard backstroke earned him a second place finish.
  • Branaugh earned second place in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:05.63). 
  • For the second time on at the event, Branaugh scooped up a first place finish in the 100 yard IM (58.61). 
  • Major Adair, John Sullivan, Barneson, and Branaugh teamed up for a second place finish in the 800 yard freestyle relay (8:26.02). 
  • Sullivan collected a first place finish in the 1650 yard freestyle (19:05.20).
  • Adair secured a second place time of 2:01.19 in the 200 yard freestyle. 
  • In the 400 yard freestyle relay, Sullivan, Adair, Barneson, and Branaugh sported a time of 3:42.82 as the quad came in second place. 
  • Branaugh continued to have a day as the rookie recorded a second place finish in the 100 yard freestyle (51.76). 

The Fighting Scots are off until the New Year as they travel to Providence, R.I. to take on Rhode Island College on Friday, January 12.
