MEET RESULTS
Gordon College Men's Track & Field competed at the Track at New Balance today in the Hampshire College Black Sheep Invitational in Brighton this afternoon.Â
Beginning the afternoon on a high note, veteran

Additionally in the triple jump, Backert took down the previous record set in 2008/2009 (11.96m) and jumped 12.35m to continue to add his name to the record books.
Then, in an action filled 60m dash,
Henry Lonstein etched his name in the record books after a time of 7.40. The previous record was 7.44 set in 2007.
In the 800m run, newcomer
Stephen Kaelin earned a ninth place finish after putting up a time of 2:09.14.
Daniel Erikson completed the 60H in 9.35 to book a sixth place finish for the junior.
Freshman
Matthew McCluskey highlighted the field events for the Fighting Scots today as the rookie was impressive in both the high jump and long jump. In the high jump, McCluskey recorded a fifth place finish after a jump of 1.75m, while coming in eighth place in the long jump after jumping a distance of 5.99m.Â
Additionally, senior
Jonathan Van Bebber had the fifth best toss in the shot put (11.42m) and
Joseph Tibbles and
Davi Butkowsky had identical throws of 9.91m to come in 10th place.
The Scots return to Norton, Mass. a week from today as they will participate in the Wheaton Pre/Post Season Meet hosted by the Wheaton College Lyons.
