RESULTS

Gordon College Women's Track & Field traveled to Norton, Massachusetts this morning for the Wheaton Pre Post Season Meet at the Beard Field House hosted by the Wheaton College Lyons where the Fighting Scots competing in their fourth indoor meet.

Kimberly Poulos was the first Scot to grab a top-10 finish as the rookie ran the 800m in a time of 2:35.11 to earn a sixth place finish in the event. Not long after, junior Elizabeth Richardson booked a 12th place finish in the one mile event after crossing the finish in 6:20.37. Carolyn Day earned the highest place for the Fighting Scots this afternoon, as the sophomore ran her way to fourth in the 3000m race (10:53.79). 

Lastly, in field events, Abigail Wirling grabbed a top-five finish in the shot put with a 10.51m throw.

The Fighting Scots will compete in the NCAA DIII New England Indoor Championship in Brighton Mass. on Saturday, February 25.
