MEET RESULTS

Joshua Backert and Joseph Tibbles represented the Gordon Men's Track & Field team at the NCAA DIII New England Indoor Championship at New Balance in Brighton over the course of the last two days. Tibbles competed in the heptathlon while Backert raced in the 400m dash.

In the heptathlon, Tibbles destroyed his personal record by 169 points to rewrite the school record books yet again after totaling 3609 points in the two-day event. Tibbles best events came in the pole vault (3.55m tied for fourth place) and the 1000m run (3:00.8 for sixth place).
  
Teammate Backert booked a 14th place finish in the 400m dash after crossing the line with a time of 50.48.

Today's meet concludes the indoor season for the Fighting Scots. Their first outdoor meet will be on March 25 in Connecticut.
