Scots Compete Against Top Teams At UMass Lowell Invitational

MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Women's Track & Field began their spring outdoor season this afternoon as they ventured to Lowell, Massachusetts for the UMass Lowell Invitational where they competed against multiple top tier schools including Harvard, Stonehill, Boston University and Hartford. 

Rachel Brennan stayed hot for the Scots, taking the top spot in her only event of the evening after crossing the finish in 10:23.20 in the 3000 run while the next Scot to cross the finish was Carolyn Day who booked a time of 11:09.03 (27th). Gordon also shined in the 200m dash as Amaris Goodwin earned a medal finish after completing the event in 26.36 to come in third. Goodwin continued to show up her opponents as the sophomore was the second athlete to cross the finish (1:01.71). Meanwhile, Subat added another top-20 finish for the Scots in the 100 dash after finishing in 14.18 (18th).

The Fighting Scots travel to Medford, Massachusetts on Saturday, April 1 for the Tufts Invitational.
