MEET RESULTS
Gordon College Men's Track and Field competed at the Snowflake Invitational today hosted by Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
Kicking off the day wasÂ
Zachary Paige who ran the 10000m in 35:01.14 to come in eighth place. Teammates
Matthew McCluskey and
Henry Lonstein made it a three-four punch as the pair earned times of 11.46 and 11.50, respectively, in the 100m dash.Â
Once again, the Fighting Scots finished in succession, as
Daniel Erikson (1:02.28),
Luke Hart (1:02.53), and
Alexander Ferris (1:02.64) booked sixth, seventh, and eighth place in the 400m hurdles.Â
Lonstein led the way for his squad in the 200m dash, crossing the finish line in fourth place (23.56). Meanwhile, in the same event, McCluskey also came in the top-10 as the rookie booked eighth after a time of 23.78.
Colin McGinn added to the Scots' top-10 placement today, taking ninth place after running the 5000m in 15:55.73.
In the 4x400m relay, Ferris,
Cameron Abbot,
Peter McGinn, and Hart registered a seventh place finish after orchestrating a time of 3:45.80.
Rounding out the day in field events,
Daniel Chewning (fifth place) and classmate McCluskey (seventh place) each recorded a high jump of 1.70m.
The Fighting Scots return home a week from today to host the Jonathan Tymann Invitational at the Brigham Athletic Complex on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 10 a.m.
