MEET RESULTS

In their second outdoor meet of the spring season, Gordon College Women's Track and Field traveled to Medford, Massachusetts to battle at the Snowflake Invitational  hosted by Tufts University today.

Amaris Goodwin nearly entered the record books in the 100m after a time of 12.82 in prelims before taking fourth in the finals with a time of 12.90. Goodwin earned another top-10 finish, as the sophomore came in seventh in the 400m (1:01.10). In her second fourth place finish of the day, Goodwin was once again the first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) runner to cross the line thanks to a time of 26.89 in the 200m dash.

Rachel Brennan broke her previous 5000m record (which was 18:15.02 set on April 16, 2022) today to secure third place after taking eight seconds of her time today (18:07.07).

After writing her name in the indoor record books almost every weekend this winter, Tiana Fox continued to roll and now holds the new outdoor shot put record after launching the shot put 11.35m. The gap between Fox, who took the top spot in today's event, and the second place thrower in today's competition was .28m. Meanwhile, Eden Bailey was locked up for a five-way tie for seventh place in the high jump (1.42).

Next up for the Fighting Scots is the Jonathan Tymann Invitational hosted by the Scots at the Brigham Athletic Complex on Saturday, April 8 beginning at 10 a.m.
