CCC RELEASE

As announced by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) this afternoon, Gordon College Men's Track & Field's star relay squad of Henry Lonstein, Joshua Backert, Matthew McCluskey and Daniel Chewning have earned the title of CCC Relay Team of the Week after a record-breaking performance at their very own Jonathan Tymann Invitational this past weekend. 

At the Brigham Athletic Complex this past Saturday, the Scots were the second group to cross the finish in the 4x100m relay with a time of 43.21, just behind Hartford (42.63) and ahead of their conference opponents, Nichols (44.28). Their swift time earned them a new spot in the Gordon College record books as it was over a second quicker than the previous record 44.41 that has been held since April of last year (2022). 

The relay team and the rest of the Fighting Scots are back in action on Saturday, April 15 when they travel to New London, Connecticut to participate in the Silfen Invitational.
