MEET RESULTS
Gordon College Women's Track and Field traveled to Connecticut to compete at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College this weekend.
Amaris Goodwin rewrote the record books in the 100m, breaking an eight year old record after crossing the finish line as the clock read 12.48 to book a sixth place finish. After putting up a time of 26.17, Goodwin recorded her second sixth place finish of the afternoon in the 200m.
Junior standout,
Rachel Brennan destroyed her 10,000m run record by nearly two minutes after coming in second place with a time of 36:53.40, coming in just ahead of league rival
Nina Parziale from the University of New England. Brennan's previous record set almost a year ago was 38:37.56.
The Fighting Scots return to action a week from today as battle at the Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT on Saturday, April 22.
