Scots Compete At MIT Sean Collier Invitational

MEET RESULTS

Gordon College Women's Track & Field ventured to Cambridge, Massachusetts this morning to participate in the MIT Seam Collier Invitational where the Fighting Scots competed against top Universities such as Boston College, Boston University, Harvard, and MIT as well as a handful of Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponents.

Tiana Fox continued to highlight the Scots' meets as the junior rewrote the record books in the shot put event with a lengthy throw of 12.48m (previously 11.35m), earning her a third place finish just behind Boston University's throw. Meanwhile, Eden Bailey launched the javelin 25.64m to book 14th.

In track events, Kimberly Poulos ran the 400m in 1:04.31 as the 12th athlete to cross the finish. Multiple Scots competed in the 1500m race with Annabel Smith coming in first for Gordon with a time of 5:38.60 (34th) before Elizabeth Richardson barreled in right behind her (5:39.71).

The Fighting Scots are back in action a week from today for the CCC Championships held at the Scots' very own Brigham Athletic Complex.
