MEET RESULTS
Qualified student-athletes from the Gordon College Women's Track & Field team traveled out to Springfield College to battle the best in the region at the NCAA Division III New England Championship. The Fighting Scots took home one All-Region nod (10,000m) thanks to
Rachel Brennan's performance. In order to receive All-Region honors, one must finish in the top-eight.
On Friday night, Brennan and
Carolyn Day both competed in the 10,000m run where Brennan was the fourth runner to cross the finish line after a time of 36:57.79. Meanwhile, sophomore Day had a career evening after smashing her own PR thanks to a new career best of 39:21.23 (previous PR was 40:07.58 earlier this season).
Amaris Goodwin represented the Fighting Scots in the 100m, 200m, and 400m all on Saturday. In the 400m, Goodwin registered a time of 1:00.29 and then ran the 200m in just 25.82 which is a personal best for the sprinter.
Junior standout
Tiana Fox shot put launch measured 11.67m which put her in as the second highest mark from a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) student-athlete.
