MEET RESULTS
Returning to action for the first time since early December, Gordon College Women's Indoor Track & Field competed in the Suffolk University Ice Breaker Invitational at The TRACK at New Balance today.Â
By The Numbers
- Emily Bengtson finished the 60m dash in 8.51.
- In the 200m dash, Amaris Goodwin crossed the line with a time of 26.90 to come in 21st place out of 86 runners. Shortly after, Goodwin's time of 1:02.92 in the 400m dash put the junior in 20th place.
- Long distance runner Carolyn Day was the ninth runner to come through the finish line thanks to completing the 3000m run in 11:14.89.
- Tiana Fox launched the shot put 11.54m and recorded the best time among DIII student-athletes.
- Alivia Geraghty broke the school record in the weight throw with a distance of 11.85m.
- For the first time in school history, the Fighting Scots competed in the mixed 4x400 relay. Goodwin, Henry Lonstein, Elizabeth Gaskill, and Jacob Smith teamed up for a school record of 3:59.36.
