Gordon College Men's Swimming welcomed the Elms College Blazers and the Regis College Pride at the Bennett Center Friday night for their home-opener. The Fighting Scots stormed out on top, 117-82 in a scoring match-up against Regis to claim the win.

- Zachary Barneson, Johnny Minns, Major Adair, and Daniel Mota orchestrated a first place finish to kick off Friday night with a bang in the 200 yard medley relay (1:50.57).
- John Sullivan was the second swimmer to touch the wall in the 200 yard freestyle (2:03.69).
- Mota rolled out to claim the top spot in the 50 yard backstroke as the rookie boasted a time of 28.84.
- James Branaugh continued the first place finishes as the sophomore's time of 28.49 in the 50 yard breaststroke took the top spot.
- In his second first place finish of the night, Mota touched the wall at 24.00 flat in the 50 yard freestyle.
- Sullivan recorded his best placing of the evening (first) in the 200 yard IM (2:25.50).
- Minns earned second in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 56.03.
- Branaugh's time of 1:05.27 in the 100 yard breaststroke was good enough to claim another first place finish.
- In his second straight first place finish, Sullivan breezed past the competition in the 500 yard freestyle after a time of 5:40.61.
- Adair came in second place in the tight 50 yard butterfly (26.32).
- For the third time, Branaugh collected the top spot, but this time in the 100 yard IM (58.82).
- Wrapping up the evening, Mota, Sullivan, Adair, and Branaugh came in first place in the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:35.65).
The Fighting Scots have a quick turnaround as they return to the pool today to host Keene State at 1 p.m. at the Bennett Center.
