Gordon College Fighting Scots' Women's Swimming returned to the pool this weekend on the road as they visited Westfield State to take on the Owls as well as the visiting Western New England (WNE) Golden Bears. The Scots fell to their hosts, 142-131 before taking down the Golden Bears, 167-81.

- The 200 yard medley relay squad of M.Kay Farkas, Emma Lippiatt, Lydia Shustack, and Isabella Gadouas dominated for a first place finish (2:02.37).
- Katherine Maloney and Emma Bruhl made it a two-three punch in the 1000 yard freestyle with times of 12:14.72, and 13:24.08, respectively.
- In the 50 yard breaststroke, Lippiatt was the first swimmer to touch the wall at the 34.31 mark.
- Rookie Shustack came into the finish a full six seconds ahead of the next competitor in the 100 yard butterfly (1:07.50).
- Gadouas claimed a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle (28.24).
- Just edged out of another top spot, Shustack completed the 100 yard freestyle in 59.55 to take second.
- Bruhl and Grace Haxhinasto finished back-to-back in the 200 yard backstroke with times of 2:42.50 and 2:46.79, respectively.
- For the rookie's second first place finish on the afternoon, Lippiatt orchestrated a time of 1:15.60 in the 100 yard breaststroke.
- In the 500 yard freestyle, long distance swimmer Maloney's time of 5:54.09 secured the senior a first place finish.
- Shustack continued to roll as the freshman edged out her competitors in the 50 yard butterfly (29.78).
- Maloney's time of 1:09.68 in the 100 yard IM earned herself second place.
The Scots will now look to next Saturday to host the Plymouth State Panthers and Albertus Magnus Falcons at 1 p.m. at the Bennett Center.
