The Gordon College Women's Swim team traveled down Route 128 to compete at the Regis College Invitational over the past two days.

By The Numbers (Friday)

• Katherine Maloney, Emma Lippiatt, Lydia Shustack, and Isabella Gadouas worked together to come in second place in the 200 yard medley relay to kick off the two-day meet (2:00.21).
• Emma Bruhl was the third swimmer to touch the wall at the 32.12 mark in the 50 yard backstroke.
• Lippiatt stormed out in front in the 50 yard breaststroke to claim the top spot (33.35).
• In the 100 yard butterfly, Shustack earned third place after sporting a time of 1:07.18.
• Maloney and Gadouas made it a two-three punch in the 50 yard freestyle with times of 26.81 and 27.05, respectively.
• Recording another first place finish was Lippiatt whose time of 1:13.41 secured the top spot in the 100 yard breaststroke.
• Veteran Maloney put up another second place finish for the Fighting Scots in the 500 yard freestyle (5:43.51).

By The Numbers (Saturday)

• Maloney continued to excel in the long distance events, coming in second place in the 1650m freestyle (19:55.15).
• Gina Ouellette registered a third place finish in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:44.59.
• In the 400 yard freestyle relay, Shustack, Lippiatt, Maloney, and Gadouas orchestrated a second place finish with a time of 4:02.10.
• Taking the crown in the 400 yard IM was Maloney thanks to a time of 5:04.63.

The Fighting Scots look ahead to Saturday, January 11 as they host Rhode Island College at the Bennett Center.
