CCC RELEASE

Gordon College Softball's Jayden Johnson earned the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors with her stellar performance in the batters box this past week.

The senior went .500 from the plate, while bringing in five RBIs as she had a slugging % of 1.000 in the two conference wins over the University of New England. Johnson came up clutch as she sent a shot out to the right center field, scoring the winning run in game one (6-5). The senior continued to be a force at the plate as she homered over the centerfield fence with two runners on, helping securing the Fighting Scots' 11-7 win in game two to capture the CCC-opening sweep. 

The Fighting Scots are back on the diamond today as they welcome non-conference opponent, Worcester State, at 3 and 5 p.m.
