Returning to the pool for the first time in over a month, Gordon College Women's Swimming hosted the Rhode Island College Anchrowomen at the Bennett Center. The Fighting Scots hit the water determined for a win. The Scots' impressive performance led to a 158-84 win in their home pool.

- The Fighting Scots started the day with the 200 yard medley relay. Emma Bruhl, Emma Lippiatt, Lydia Shustack, and Isabella Gadouas teamed up to grab first place for the Scots (2:02.17)
- Katherine Maloney took the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:11.28. The senior secured another first place finish in the 100 yard freestyle (1:05.02).
- Emma Lippiatt won 100 yard breaststroke for the Scots swimming a 12:12.70, beating her opponent by tenths of a second.
- Lydia Shustack grabbed a hat trick winning the 50 yard butterfly (29.83), 50 yard backstroke (33.80), and the 200 yard IM (2:30.49).
- Isabella Gadouas won another tight race in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 27.41.
- Â The 500 yard freestyle was claimed by Emma Bruhl who swam a 6:21.80.
Both the men's and women's teams are on the road a week from today as they travel to Connecticut to square off against the Bluejays of the UNiversity of St. Joseph's (Conn.) on Saturday, January 18.
