Men’s Cross Country Finishes 16th at Conn. College Invitational

WATERFORD, Conn.- The Gordon College men's cross country team claimed a 16th-place finish at the Connecticut College Invitational Saturday. The field of 37 teams featured 12 nationally-ranked squads and over 350 competitors.
 
Rookie Aidan Roberts (Casco, Maine) paced the Fighting Scots with a personal-best time of 26:51.4. Josef Schultz (Severn, Md.) crossed the finish line in 27:27.8 and Paul Lynn (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) posted a personal-best mark for the second-consecutive meet with a time of 27:39.1.
 
"Our team is running well at the right time of the season, but I still believe our best racing is ahead of us," commented head coach Mickey Miela. "Right now we're focusing on staying sharp as we enter into our championship season."
