WENHAM, Mass.- The No. 3 seed Gordon College women's tennis team defeated No. 6 seed University of New England 4-0 Tuesday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex in the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament first round. With the win, the Fighting Scots advance to the CNE semifinals to face second-seeded Nichols.

POSTSEASON TOURNAMENT PROGRESSES:
After besting the University of New England, Gordon moves on to the CNE Tournament semifinals for the third-consecutive year. The Fighting Scots will travel to second-seeded Nichols October 29. The CNE championship match is slated for November 1.
