WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's swimming team picked up a pair of victories in the first home meet of the season Saturday afternoon at the Bennett Center Pool. The Fighting Scots defeated Western New England 151-109 and also topped Westfield State 159.5-102.5.
TOP PERFORMANCES:
- Evie Lacock captured a first-place finish in the 100-yard Butterfly with a school-record time of 1:00.88.
- Emma Lippiatt posted a pair of wins, placing first in the 50-yard Breaststroke and the 100-yard Breaststroke.
- Kendall Smith won the 500-yard Freestyle event.
- Lydia Shustack recorded first-place finishes in the 50-yard Butterfly.
- Harper Yingst earned a first-place finish in the 1,000-yard Freestyle while Isabella Gadouas notched a win in the 50-yard Freestyle.
- Gordon collected a first-place finish in the 200-yard Free relay to cap off the meet.
SENIOR SEND-OFF:
Prior to the start of the meet, the Gordon College swimming program celebrated senior
M. Kay Farkas who will be graduating at the end of the fall semester.

Gordon heads to Regis November 21 to battle Elms, Regis, and Simmons.
