Box Score Kicking off their spring season up north, Gordon College Women's Tennis traveled up to Vermont to play the St. Michael's Knights where the Fighting Scots battled hard with their NCAA DII opponent, but fell by a score of 4-3.

How It Happened

• Despite Makayla Otey and Amanda Kim coming out with the 6-0 victory on the No. 3 court, the home team came away with the double points (1) after securing wins on both the No. 1 and No. 2 courts.
• Gianna Hallam, Amanda Kim, and Otey each were victorious in their singles matches. Hallam defeated her counterpart, 6-4, 6-1 in No. 6 action, Kim got the better of her No. 5 opponent, 6-3, 6-4, while Otey won the marathon duel, 6-2, 7-6 (2), and 6-3.

Next up for the Scots is their Hilton Head Spring Break trip starting March 8.
