For their second Conference of New England (CNE) twin bill in as many days, Gordon College Softball hosted the Suffolk University Rams who come out with two wins over the Fighting Scots, 3-1 and 12-2.

Game One

• Through the first four innings, starting left-hander Emily Graham allowed just one hit to the Suffolk batters. The Fighting Scots were the first to cross home plate however, as Samantha Perkins laced a single up the middle to bring home Emily Peterson (1-0) in the home half of the fourth.
• The Rams matched the blue and white with a run in the top of the fifth (1-1).
• Tied 1-1 heading into the seventh, Suffolk brought two runs home to lead 3-1 going into the Scots' final at bat. Gordon was able to put two runners on, but the Rams were able to hold on for the two-run win.

Game Two

• Down 9-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth, the Fighting Scots continued to battle as sophomore Perkins belted a shot over the fence with one aboard to make it a 9-2 game. 
• Suffolk tacked on three more runs in the sixth to end the game early.

Beyond The Box Score

• Lauren Parker registered her first two-hit game in CNE action.
• Samantha Perkins booked her first collegiate home run in game two.
• The Scots take a break from league action as they head to Westfield, Mass. to play the Owls next Tuesday, April 15.
