CSC MEN'S TRACK & FIELD ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT RELEASE | CSC WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT RELEASE
As announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), six Gordon College Men's and Women's Track & Field student-athletes were represented on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
Rachel Brennan,
Carolyn Day,
Alivia Geraghty,
Amaris Goodwin,
Henry Lonstein, and
Peter McGinn earned their spot on the list while excelling in the classroom and on the track.
In order to be recognized with this honor, a student-athlete must obtain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale), must have at least sophomore academic standing, while being ranked in the top-50 in cross country at a regional competition, or top-50 regionally in a single even for track & field.
Among the six student-athletes, Brennan, Day, Goodwin, and Lonstein have now been recognized by the organization for the past three seasons, while Geraghty and McGinn earn this award for the first time.
Additionally, for their standout performances, Brennan and Day have been selected to advance in the process as CSC All-America finalists.
