WENHAM, Mass.-  Gordon College Director of Athletics Jason Linders has announced the hiring of Rob Rossi as Director of Athletic Communications.

He brings extensive experience in sports communications through his previous work at Emerson College, Eastern Nazarene College, Merrimack College, and Harvard University," stated Linders. "We are eager for him to get started and play a vital role in showcasing the success of our student-athletes and teams at Gordon. We look forward to the strategic insights and fresh perspectives he will bring, as well as his efforts to build new synergies between Athletics and our campus partners."

Rossi arrives at Gordon after serving as the Director of Athletic Communications at Emerson College in Boston. At Emerson, he served as the primary media contact for the Lions' 14 varsity programs and played a key role in transitioning the department's streaming efforts to the FloSports network.

Prior to his role at Emerson, Rossi spent 12 years at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. At ENC, he began as Sports Information Director before being promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Scheduling. Rossi was the primary media contact for all of the Lions' athletic programs and also served on numerous committees. In 2024, he was inducted into the Carroll F. Bradley Hall of Fame at Eastern Nazarene College.

Before his post at Eastern Nazarene, Rossi spent two years as Assistant Sports Information Director at Merrimack College and one year as an Athletic Communications Intern at Harvard University.

In his role at Gordon, Rossi will lead the Athletic Communication efforts, including broadcasts, statistics, press releases, website management, social media, creative content, and more.

A native of Coventry, Rhode Island, Rossi graduated from Eastern Nazarene College in 2009 where he was a four-year member of the men's soccer team.
