WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's soccer team fell to Johnson & Wales 3-2 Saturday afternoon on the Gordon Quad.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Johnson & Wales captured a 1-0 edge in the 22nd minute. Jessica Lee notched her second goal of the season off of an assist from Sophia Warburton.
- Gordon responded with a goal in the 41st minute to knot the contest at 1-1. Ava Forbes-Smith (Bridgewater, Mass.) bagged her third marker of the year with a long-range effort as Francie Leffler (Cerritos, Calif.) picked up an assist.
- The Fighting Scots snagged a 2-1 advantage in the 74th minute. Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) gathered her own rebound and curled in her team-leading eighth tally of the campaign.
- The Wildcats pulled even at 2-2 with a goal in the 79th minute. Jessica Lee knocked in a loose ball right in front of the cage to collect her second marker of the day.
- Johnson & Wales manufactured the go-ahead score in the 89th minute as Catie Iannico buried her first goal of the season with a left-footed strike.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) led the hosts with four shots on the day while Ava Forbes-Smith (Bridgewater, Mass.) and Rachel Mincone (East Northport, N.Y.) both recorded a pair of shots.
- Rookie Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) posted five saves between the pipes.
- The Fighting Scots finished with nine shots in the match while the Wildcats generated 15 attempts.
