BEVERLY, Mass.- Junior Serena Ross (Boerne, Texas) and freshman Lucille Belval (Avon, Conn.) of the Gordon College women's tennis team collected Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week accolades, respectively, announced the league office Monday.

Ross prevailed in a third-set super-tiebreaker at the No. 2 singles spot to earn a 6-7 (5), 7-5, 10-3 victory. She also partnered with Makayla Otey (Greer, S.C.) at the No. 1 doubles position to capture a 7-6 (2) win.

Belval cruised to a pair of victories in her collegiate debut. She rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at the top singles spot and teamed with Gianna Hallam (Williamsville, N.Y.) to notch a 6-0 victory at the No. 3 doubles slot.

Gordon opened the 2025-26 season with a 7-0 sweep of Simmons and returns to action September 11 at Assumption.
