PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Gordon College women's basketball team suffered a 98-36 setback on the road at Johnson & Wales Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gordon got off to a slow start and faced a 15-3 deficit after the opening quarter.
- Johnson & Wales extended its lead to 47-15 at the half after outscoring the visitors 25-12 in the second period.
- The Wildcats poured in 29 points in the third while limiting the Fighting Scots to 12 in the frame to stretch the margin to 76-47 heading into the final quarter.
- Johnson & Wales posted a 22-9 edge in fourth-quarter scoring to roll to its fourth-straight win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Woynitu Ciccarello (East Haddam, Conn.) tallied eight points to go with three assists and three rebounds.
- Sophie Peters (Sidney, Mont.) finished with seven points and five boards.
- Jayme Kiser (Braintree, Mass.) added six points.
- Gordon shot 21.4% from the floor and 23.5% from three-point range.
- Johnson & Wales finished with a field-goal percentage of 53.5% and connected on 9-of-25 from beyond the arc.
- Grace Jaffray poured in a game-high 28 points to pace the home team while Mya Jiminez and Isabella Suero both notched 11 points.
