WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's basketball team suffered a 71-43 setback to Roger Williams Wednesday evening at the Bennett Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Roger Williams established an early lead, jumping ahead 17-6 after one quarter of action.
- The visitors extended their advantage to 33-20 at the half with a 16-14 edge in second-period scoring.
- The Hawks chalked up 16 points in the third while limiting Gordon to 10 points in the frame to widen the margin to 49-30.
- Roger Williams outscored Gordon 22-13 in the fourth quarter to roll to a 71-43 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Leah McGarvey (Harrisburg, Pa.) poured in a game-high 21 points and grabbed six boards.
- Jayme Kiser (Braintree, Mass.) and Sami Monighetti (Las Vegas, Nev.) both chipped in with six points.
- Gordon shot 21.5% from the floor and 23.1% from behind the arc.
- Roger Williams posted a field-goal percentage of 47.5% and connected on 4-of-19 from three-point distance.
- Lilli Clark registered a double-double to lead the Hawks, finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Ava Azzaro tallied 13 points off the bench.
