WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's soccer team battled the University of New England to a 1-1 draw Tuesday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Nor'easters claimed a 1-0 lead in the 37th minute, benefitting from an own goal.
- Gordon equalized in the 50th minute. Lily Harper (Ipswich, Mass.) netted her second tally of the season as Willow Forbes-Smith (Bridgewater, Mass.) picked up an assist.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Eowyn Lapp (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) paced the home side with six 15 while Willow Forbes-Smith (Bridgewater, Mass.) fired two shots.
- In goal, Ivy Daniel (Aurora, Colo.) made four saves.
- Gordon concluded the contest with 10 shot attempts while the University of New England manufactured 16 shots.
CNE TOURNAMENT TIME:
Gordon secured a spot in the Conference of New England Tournament with action getting underway October 31.
