PISCATAWAY, N.J.- The Gordon College men's swimming team capped off the 2025-26 season with a fourth-place finish at the Metropolitan Championships held at Rutgers University.

DAY THREE TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Theo Dietrich posted a first-place finish in the 200-butterfly with a time of 1:55.08.
• Sage Steffen took third in the 100-yard freestyle with a school-record mark of 47.68 seconds.
• Gordon's 400-yard freestyle relay team of Kyle Dumais, Sage Steffen, Theo Dietrich, and James Branaugh placed third with a time of 3:16.62

 
DAY TWO TOP PERFORMANCES:

• The Fighting Scots' 200-yard medley relay squad of Cooper Hardy, James Branaugh, Theo Dietrich, and Kyle Dumais posted a school-record time of 1:36.41 to earn third in the event.
• Theo Dietrich finished third in the 100-yard butterfly with a mark of 51.78.
• Sage Steffen and Cooper Hardy captured top-five finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke, respectively.

 
DAY ONE TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Gordon's relay quartet of Sage Steffen, Kyle Dumais, Theo Dietrich, and James Branaugh placed second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a school-record time of 1:25.67.
• Theo Dietrich claimed fourth in the 200-yard individual medley with a mark of 2:04.21.
• Kyle Dumais led the Scots in the 50-yard freestyle with a third-place finish while James Branuagh and Sage Steffen captured fourth and fifth, respectively.
• The Scots' relay group of Cooper Hardy, James Branaugh, Theo Dietrich, and Kyle Dumais broke a school-record with a time of 3:36.74 to earn a second-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay.
