PISCATAWAY, N.J.- The Gordon College women's swimming team finished third at the Metropolitan Championships for the second-straight year as the competition wrapped up Sunday at Rutgers University.

DAY 3 TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Evie Lacock claimed a first-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:36.52.
• Kendall Smith captured third in the 200-yard backstroke with a season-best mark of 2:17.08.
• Harper Yingst finished third in the 1,650-yard freestyle while Lily Foisy grabbed fourth in the 200-yard butterfly.

 
DAY 2 TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Gordon's 200-yard medley relay team of Kendall Smith, Emma Lippiatt, Evie Lacock, and Isabella Gadouas captured first place with a time of 1:54.46.
• Emma Lippiatt posted a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a season-best time of 1:10.44.
• Evie Lacock broke the program record in the 100-yard butterfly with a mark of 1:00.69 to earn third.
• Kendall Smith finished third in the 100-yard backstroke and Harper Yingst took fourth in the 400-yard individual medley.

 
DAY 1 TOP PERFORMANCES:

• Gordon's 200-yard Freestyle Relay quartet of Kendall Smith, Evie Lacock, Isabella Gadouas, and Emma Lippiatt placed fifth with a time of 1:45.80.
• Kendall Smith and Harper Yingst both posted personal-best times in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing second and sixth, respectively.
• Evie Lacock captured a second-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley with a personal-best time of 2:19.95.
• Emma Lippiatt claimed fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a personal-record mark of 26.05.
• The Scots secured a second-place finish in the 400-yard Medley Relay as Kendall Smith, Emma Lippiatt, Evie Lacock, and Isabella Gadouas recorded a time of 4:16.63.
