WENHAM, Mass.- The Gordon College women's basketball team dropped a 53-45 decision to Suffolk Saturday afternoon at the Bennett Center in the final game of the 2025-26 season.

Prior to the start of the contest, the Gordon Women's Basketball program honored seniors

Isabella Rivera.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Suffolk scored six unanswered points to end the first quarter with a 16-10 lead.
- Gordon cut the deficit to 18-17 with 6:26 on the clock in the second period as Woynitu Ciccarello (East Haddam, Conn.) completed a three-point play at the charity stripe.
- The Rams outscored the Fighting Scots 11-3 in the final six minutes of the first half to own a 29-20 advantage at halftime.
- The visitors extended the margin to 35-21 with 6:21 remaining in the third and sported a 41-30 lead heading to the fourth quarter.
- Gordon trimmed the gap to 51-45 on a step-back trey by Woynitu Ciccarello (East Haddam, Conn.) but Suffolk converted two free throws late in regulation to secure a season-ending win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Leah McGarvey (Harrisburg, Pa.) scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds to go with five steals.
- Woynitu Ciccarello (East Haddam, Conn.) finished with 12 points, four steals, and three boards.
- Sophie Peters (Sidney, Mont.) recorded her fourth double-double of the year, tallying 11 points and collecting 12 rebounds.
- Isabella Rivera (Concord, N.H.) added seven points and five boards.
- Gordon was limited to 24.2% shooting from the floor and 20% from beyond the arc.
- Suffolk posted a field-goal percentage of 40.7% and connected on 2-of-12 from three-point range.
- Allison Bono paced the Rams with a double-double, netting 18 points and hauling in 10 rebounds. Tatiana Tune chipped in with 12 points while Claire Berkowitz registered 10 points.
