BOSTON, Mass.- The Gordon College softball team absorbed a pair of losses at Wentworth Friday evening, falling 8-0 and 6-1.
GAME ONE

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth snagged a 1-0 edge with a run in the bottom of the first inning.
- The Leopards tacked on four runs in the second to stretch their lead to 5-0.
- The home side produced three runs in the fifth inning to clinch an 8-0 run-rule victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Wentworth manufactured three runs in the bottom of the first to claim a 3-0 lead.
- The Leopards added two runs in the second inning to extend the margin to 5-0.
- The hosts plated one run in the third to push their advantage to 6-0.
- Gordon got on the board in the top of the fourth inning, tallying a run to trim the deficit to 6-1.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Caoimhe Wernsing (Brockton, Mass.) notched a team-best three hits.
- Lizzie DeRusha (Nashua, N.H.) posted two hits and one run scored.
- Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.), Makayla Falco (Warwick, R.I.), and Isabella Rivera (Concord, N.H.) all chipped in with one base knock.
- Emily Graham (Amesbury, Mass.) pitched 2.2 innings and Kassie Snowman (St. Albans, Maine), tossed 3.1 innings of relief.
